Baguio City logged new Cases, recoveries and a fatality today



Baguio City has recorded today, a total of 19 new cases of persons inflicted with the virus. Most of the new cases is a result of the contact tracing efforts of the City’s contact tracing team, these patients were close contacts of previously recorded patients. In addition, the City also recorded 12 patients who recovered from the virus. Unfortunately, the city also recorded a fatality today who is a 66 years old female with co-morbidities of hepatic encephalopathy and cirrhosis.

  • 67 years old – Female – Gibraltar – Close Contact (Contact Tracing)
  • 2 years old – Male – Gibraltar – Close Contact (Contact Tracing)
  • 14 years old – Male – Gibraltar – Close Contact (Contact Tracing)
  • 32 years old – Female – Gibraltar – Close Contact (Contact Tracing)
  • 48 years old – Male – St. Joseph – Close Contact (Contact Tracing)
  • 28 years old – Male – Malcolm – Symptomatic
  • 38 years old – Male – Upper QM – Symptomatic
  • 29 years old – Male – Camp 8 – Symptomatic
  • 59 years old – Female – Lower Fairview – Discovered, tested as a routine check for a medical procedure
  • 42 years old – Male – No Residence indicated – Close Contact (Contact Tracing)
  • 19 years old – Female – No Residence indicated  – Close Contact (Contact Tracing)

These new cases bring the total number of cases in Baguio City to 415. The total number of Active cases is now at 81. Total fatalities are now at 11 and total recoveries at 323.

The public and residents are reminded to always strictly observe the minimum health protocols set by the IATF and the Local Government of Baguio.
