Baguio City, like many places, has been greatly affected by the pandemic. Especially so that we are a city thriving mainly on tourism, may livelihood have been affected by the travel restriction. December is usually the busiest time of the year in Baguio as tourists and locals enjoy the cold temperature brought by the Northeast monsoon, the warmth of coffee, and the different tourist spots in Baguio that can be visited by families and friends.
It has been Baguio City Guide’s yuletide tradition to go around the City of Pines every year to witness the different lights set up by business establishments and homeowners during December.
Baguio City 2020 Christmas Lights
As we went around the city, we were clouded with a little bit of sadness because the lights aren’t as lively as it used to be, which was very understandable due to the situation we are currently in. Hope you will enjoy this drive despite it being a bit somber and let us continue working as one and healing as one as a community.
