Autosupply Shops, Hardwares, Office Supplies Stores will open from March 27-29
As per Executive Order No. 69, s. 2020, hardwares, office supplies stores and those selling electrical and auto supplies will be allowed to temporarily open from March 27-29, 2020, 9 AM to 4 PM.
Mayor Benjamin Magalong allowed such establishments to operate during the said dates in order to cater to the needs of our frontliners as we are experiencing shortage in Protective Personal Equipment (PPEs).
As stated in the E.O., the stores mentioned above are the only places where materials for producing PPEs can be bought. Hence there’s an urgency to allow them to temporarily open for business.
However, upon opening, these businesses are required to follow strict implementation of the following:
- Proper hygiene and sanitation
- Social distancing
NOTE: Only essential and skeletal employees of hardwares, office supplies stores, electrical and auto supplies shops must report for work from March 27-29, 2020.
