Areas in Benguet and Baguio City to Experience Power Interruption from June 23-25, 2020

Benguet Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BENECO) announced yesterday, June 21, 2020, that there will be a scheduled power interruption from June 23 to 25, 2020 affecting several areas in Benguet and Baguio City.

The power interruption schedules from June 23 to 25 will start at 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.

BENECO Power Interruption on June 23, 2020

Based on the advisory from BENECO, the following areas in Baguio City will experience power interruption on June 23, 2020:

Baguio City

• Bengao
• St. Nino

BENECO Power Interruption on June 24, 2020

On the other hand, here are the areas in the Municipality of Buguias that will be affected by the power interruption scheduled on June 24, 2020:

Buguias 

• Catlubong
• Amlimay
• Loo
• Sebang
• Central Buguias
• Baculongan Norte/Sur
• Parts of Abatan and Buyacaon

BENECO Power Interruption on June 25, 2020

In addition, the following parts of the Municipality of Kapangan will also experience power interruption on June 25, 2020.

Kapangan

• Peykek
• Pongayan
• Gaswiing
• Cayapes
• Sagubo
• Gadang
• Poblacion Central

According to BENECO’s notice, all concerned Cable & Communication Companies are advised to inspect and institute necessary safety measures or actions on their cables or lines attached on the affected BENECO poles.

As for consumers, always consider all lines energized because power maybe restored earlier than the scheduled time.
