Another Patient in La Trinidad Recovers from COVID-19


Good news! The total number of COVID-19 recoveries in the Province of Benguet now at forty (40) as another COVID-19 patient at La Trinidad reported having recovered from the disease.

This update is based on a separate report published by the La Trinidad Mayor’s Office and PIO Benguet today, July 17, 2020.

The COVID-19 Patient

According to PIO Benguet, the patient is a 37-year-old male who came from the United Kingdom (UK) and was admitted at the Benguet General Hospital (BeGH) on July 4, 2020.

Furthermore, as of 1:30 PM today, the La Trinidad Mayor’s Office stated that a simple send-off rite was already held for the patient with the presence of Benguet Governor Melchor D. Diclas, Mayor Romeo K. Salda, Vice Mayor Roderick C. Awingan, Councilor Apolinario A. Bagano Jr., BeGH Chief of Hospital Dr. Meliarazon Dulay and BeGH staff.

Other COVID 19 Patients in Benguet

The province of Benguet now has nine (9) active cases of COVID-19 who are all admitted at the BeGH.
