After 10 Months La Trinidad Lifted Its Liquor Ban, However



Is there still an ongoing liquor ban in La Trinidad, Benguet? Are establishments such as resto-bars and billiard halls already allowed to operate? Is the municipality already prepared for community vaccination? If you were asking any of these questions, know that the Municipality of La Trinidad, Benguet has already given the answers.

The Mayor’s Office of La Trinidad has recently released the highlights of the MIATF Meeting held on January 8, 2021. Stated below are the details as provided Mayor’s Office of La Trinidad:

  • Logbooks are no longer required at establishments, except those which serve food for DINE IN.
  • Anyone whose temperature is above 37.8 degrees Celsius and those 15 and below, and 65 and above, unless for essential purposes, shall be restricted entry
  • The LGU is in the preparatory stages of Community Vaccination, subject to national guidelines
  • Billiard Halls still not allowed
  • Operations of Resto-Bars still not allowed
  • Sale of liquor for 45 days starting January 8, 2021 will be allowed ONLY for HOME CONSUMPTION
  • If after 45 days, the data and circumstances will so warrant, total liquor ban shall be re-imposed
