7 Recoveries and 2 New COVID-19 Cases Recorded in Benguet




Today (Monday), September 7, 2020, seven (7) patients from the Province of Benguet have recovered from the disease, and two (2) additional COVID-19 cases were recorded.

7 Patients Discharged from BeGH

Seven (7) more Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients who recovered from the disease have been discharged today from the Benguet General Hospital (BeGH).

Six (6) of the said patients are from the Municipality of La Trinidad while one (1) is from the Municipality of Itogon.

A simple send-off ceremony with Governor Melchor Diclas, Mayor Romeo Salda, representatives from congressman Eric Yap’s Office, personnel of the Benguet General Hospital (BeGH), which was led by Dr. Meliarazon Dulay was held to congratulate the patients.

The public, on the other hand, is reminded to strictly comply with safety and health protocols to avoid contracting COVID-19.

2 New COVID-19 Cases

Today, the province has recorded two(2) additional cases of COVID-19. Here are the details of the new cases:

  • 79-year-old Male from Labilab, Itogon and he is asymptomatic.
  • 37-year-old Male from Wangal, La Trinidad and he is asymptomatic.

COVID-19 Cases in Benguet

Form the latest Benguet COVID-19 Update, the province has recorded 197 total cases of COVID-19, 40 active cases, 156 recoveries, and 1 fatality.
