[UPDATED] 6 New COVID-19 Cases Recorded in Abra; 2 in Benguet
Abra and Benguet province has recorded a total of eight (8) new cases of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) today, July 19, 2020.
According to the Department of Health- Cordillera Administrative Region, here are the details on the new cases. The status of all patients is still under verification.
New COVID-19 cases in Abra
- 79-year-old male
- 47-year-old male
- 18-year-old male
- 16-year-old male
- 27-year-old male
- 85-year-old female
The six new cases raise the province’s active confirmed cases to 8. It is the highest number of recorded cases in Abra in a single day.

New COVID-19 Cases in Benguet
Here are the following details of the two (2) new COVID-19 cases recorded in Benguet according to the Public Information Office – Benguet.
- 38-year-old Male from Itogon with a travel history in Cavite.
- 38-year-old Male from La Trinidad with a travel history in Laguna.
Furthermore, both of the new COVID-19 cases of the Province of Benguet are asymptomatic and are in a stable condition. The patients are currently admitted at the Benguet General Hospital (BeGH).
COVID-19 Cases in CAR
As of date, the additional eight cases have risen the total number of confirmed cases in the region to 156, with Baguio City having the highest cases and Benguet following suit.
