29 Recoveries and 5 New COVID-19 Cases Recorded in Baguio City Today
Today, August 26, 2020, the City of Baguio has recorded 29 COVID-19 recoveries and five (5) new COVID-19 cases.
5 New COVID-19 Cases
These are the details of the new cases in Baguio City:
- 43-year-old Male (Residence withheld pending lockdown order issuance).
- 25-year-old Male (Residence withheld pending lockdown order issuance).
- 29-year-old Female from Happy Homes Old Lucban.
- 42-year-old Male (Residence withheld pending lockdown order issuance).
- 27-year-old Female (Residence withheld pending lockdown order issuance).
In addition, three of the new COVID-19 cases were the result of the ongoing target testing of grocery stores. One case is a result of contact tracing and another case is dure to other reasons i.e. travel/work/pre-medical procedure requirement. This is according to the Public Information Office (PIO) – Baguio City.
COVID-19 Recoveries in Baguio City
The city has also reported one of the highest recorded cases in a day with 29 patients who have successfully conquered the disease. This raises the city’s recovery rate to seventy-five percent (75%).

According to the Baguio City COVID-19 Monitoring today, the city has recorded 297 confirmed COVID-19 Cases, 65 active cases, 224 recoveries, and 8 fatalities.
