2 Baguio Areas on Lockdown and 2 Lockdown Orders Lifted
Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong has issued two memorandums ordering the lifting of lockdown orders and the implementation of new lockdown orders over several areas in Baguio City.
Lifted Lockdown Orders
Under Memorandum No. 291, series of 2020, the lockdown orders over these areas in Barangay Loakan Proper is lifted:
- Purok Cudirao
- Purok Magsaysay
Lockdown orders over these Puroks were lifted after the local Contact Tracing team has conducted reassessment at Barangay Loakan Proper and they have recommended that lockdown is no longer necessary.
Furthermore, Barangay Officials and BHERT’s must strictly monitor those persons who have been recommended to observe 14-day quarantine/isolation according to the memorandum.
New Provisional Lockdown Order
Under Memorandum No. 292, series of 2020, here are the puroks in Riverside, Barangay Happy Homes-Lucban placed under provisional lockdown:
- Purok 4
- Purok 5
The lockdown was ordered to conduct contact tracing after a recent COVID-19 case in the city was confirmed a resident of the said barangay and has had contacts in Barangay Happy Homes-Lucban.
