16th COVID-19 Case of Tuba Recorded Today

The Municipality of Tuba, Benguet has recorded its 16th COVID-19 case today, August 20, 2020.

Here are the following details of the new case in Tuba:

• 37-year-old Female from Purok Gusaran, Sitio Camp 6, Barangay Camp 4.
• Work as a cook in a restaurant located in Baguio City.
• She is direct contact of a positive case in Baguio City and was swabbed last August 17,2020.

Lockdown Order

Effective 3:00 PM today until further notice, Purok Gusaran will be placed under localized lockdown for contact tracing purposes.

Reminders

The residents are advised to observe the following:

• Stay home.
• Use of Mall and Market Pass is suspended.
• Those who need to access basic necessities can go to the sari-sari stores or they must coordinate with their Barangay Officials.
• Take extra precautionary measures and follow basic health protocols when going outside residence.
• Exit and entry in the area is restricted to APORs (Authorized Person Outside Residence) and those with medical emergencies, however, those APORs who have direct contact with the positive case patient will be included in the lockdown until cleared by the Contact Tracing Team.
